PROJECTS

We advocate for the industry and support initiatives to share best practice and build career pathways.

Construction Career Pathways Project

Based on successful international models, we are developing a Career Pathways Framework for professional roles in commercial construction with the New Zealand Institute of Building and the University of Canterbury. The purpose is to help retain tradespeople in the industry by illustrating potential career pathways and opportunities for progression in the sector. The project also identifies new roles and careers that could emerge as a result of technological development.

The first step is to undertake research and engage with industry members on their experiences. To get involved contact us at info@nziob.org.nz
