Our History

The Building and Construction Training Fund (BCTF) was formed out of the transfer of all the activities of the Building and Construction Industry Organisation (BCITO) in line with the Review of Vocational Education (RoVE).

BCTF’s Strategic Direction

Our strategic direction is followed through the 3 strategic pillars of:

Improving skills and pathways:

Supporting the upskilling across a number of initiatives including governance, general and business management skills and being active in leading people down the right path in the industry

Collaboration:

Being a catalyst for the sharing of information and knowledge across the construction sector. Providing BCTF members with access to best practice leading to a more cohesive and cohesive construction sector
